From Izola, cycle by the sea toward Koper. The final section takes you through the picturesque countryside of Istria, offering beautiful views toward Tinjan. The path is mostly flat with some climbs toward the end. The spectacular view from Tinjan overlooking Slovenian Istria rewards all your efforts. The path is suitable for recreational cyclists.
Padna – Marezige – Padna

The cycling path begins in the charming village of Padna, where you can also rent an electric mountain bike at TIC Padna. The path continues through lush vineyards and olive groves toward Pomjan, then leads through the rolling landscape to Marezige, where stunning views of the Istrian countryside await, along with opportunities to taste local wines. Portorož – Poreč – Portorož
194 km, 12-16 h
The cycling path starts in Portorož, continues alongside the Sečovlje Salt Pans, and crosses the border into Croatia. It passes through Savudrija, Kaldanija, and Buje, before reaching the artistic village of Grožnjan and medieval Završje. The route continues through numerous picturesque Istrian villages, ending in Poreč, a beautiful Mediterranean town renowned for the Euphrasian Basilica. The trail is diverse and suitable for recreational cyclists.
