FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 10

10.00-16.00: market of kakis/persimmons and other delicacies; presentation of the salt-farming family by the Giuseppe Tartini Piran Italian Association
11.00: opening ceremony and blessing of the kaki/persimmon
12.00-13.00: guided tour of the Strunjan salt pans (meeting point: Strunjan fishing harbour, canceled in case of bad weather)
13.00: workshop on the production and use of kaki/persimmon (conference room at Talaso Strunjan)
15.00: workshop on how to dry kakis/persimmons (conference room at Talaso Strunjan)
16.00: briscolada (contribution 15,00 € includes dinner and prizes)
17.00: competition for the biggest kaki/persimmon of Strunjan
18.00: gathering of local residents on the occasion of the Strunjan local holiday
