This Summer, Portorož Becomes the Center of European Youth Beach Volleyball!
In the summer of 2025, Volley Club Portorož will become the heart of European youth beach volleyball! In collaboration with the Volleyball Federation of Slovenia and under the auspices of international organizations MEVZA and CEV, we will host three major international youth competitions from July 2 to July 8, 2025.
A special honor and new highlight of this summer is that Portorož will, for the first time, host qualification tournaments for the European Championships in the U18 and U20 categories. These are key events where young volleyball players from across the region will compete for a spot in Europe’s most prestigious tournaments.

Qualifiers for the European Championship in Italy (Corigliano Rossano), September 11–14, 2025 -
U20 (Under 20): July 4–5, 2025
Qualifiers for the European Championship in Spain (Madrid), August 21–24, 2025 -
U16 (Under 16): July 6–8, 2025

The events will take place on the sandy courts in Portorož, once again bringing together top-level sport, youthful energy, and the stunning seaside atmosphere.
