We invite you to a guided tour of the Piran City Cemetery, as part of the European Cemetery Heritage Days.
The guides will meet visitors on Wednesday, 31 May 2023, at 11:00, in front of the main entrance to thecemetery.
Together, we will learn about the more than 200-year history of Piran Cemetery, the tombs of Piran’s oldestnoble and bourgeois families, their happy and less happy stories, the beautiful cemetery architecture, theworks of famous sculptors and other attractions that led to the cemetery being declared a cultural monument oflocal importance in 2018.
The tour will be held in Slovenian and Italian.
Parking in the Arze garage will be free of charge for participants.
