The Hungarian Dance Academy from Budapest is one of the most eminent and important ballet educational institutions in Europe and in the world. Based on the system of the famous Russian ballet teacher, Agripila Vaganova from St. Petersburg, she developed her own recognizable system, based on which every year an enviable number of ballet dancers graduate at a high level, occupying important positions in world-famous ballet ensembles around the world, from the State opera and ballet in Budapest, the Dutch State Ballet HET, many famous European ballet theaters, to Chicago and other important American ballet ensembles.
The fact that the ballet ensemble of the State Opera and Ballet from Budapest occupies a place at the very top of the world’s excellent ballet ensembles speaks of the extraordinary quality of the central Hungarian state ballet educational institution.
