The Avditorij Portorož is proud to announce a concert by the band Laibach on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 8:00 PM in the Amphitheater of the Avditorij. Laibach will perform material from their iconic album Opus Dei as well as a selection of other tracks from their repertoire, possibly including some new additions.

Laibach’s cult album Opus Dei (featuring hits such as “Life is Life,” “Leben heißt Leben,” and “Geburt einer Nation”), originally released in 1987 by Mute Records and included in the famous selection 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die [1001 ALBUMS YOU MUST HEAR BEFORE YOU DIE, Cassel Illustrated, 2005], has finally been remastered and re-released after 26 years. The new release includes a wealth of additional historical recordings from various concerts and remixes on three vinyl records and four CDs. Laibach is promoting this release with a special tour, where they will perform some songs from the album for the first time in many years, in a new arrangement. The program will also include other well-known and lesser-known tracks from their repertoire that were released before *Opus Dei*, along with some new surprises. As always with Laibach, we can expect the unexpected.
