Music is certainly the art form that most powerfully connects people of different generations, interests and outlooks on life. As we want both culture and art to remain public goods that should be accessible to everyone, we would like to bring the traditional Opera Night prepared by the Municipality of Maribor and the SNG Maribor to the beach of Portorož for all opera lovers as well as for all curious passers-by.
A slightly more light-hearted programme will be a relaxing experience for all visitors to Portorož.
The concert, conducted by Simon Krečič and performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the SNG Maribor and the choir and soloists of the Maribor Opera, will feature choruses and the most beautiful arias from the greatest operatic hits from the treasuries of Italian, French and Slovenian opera.
