LÁSZLÓ PAULIK, BAROQUE VIOLIN

He was born in Hungary and graduated at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. He continued his studies in Vienna, and at the Academy of Early music in Dresden with professor Simon Standage. Since 1992 he has worked as a leader ad a soloist of the Orfeo Chamber Orchestra, Budapest. He works with several European orchestras, like Anima Eterna performed in all major European festivals with these ensembles. In 2006 he performed the 24 Caprices by N. Paganini on gut strings at the Festival van Vlaanderen and at the Musikfestpiele in Potsdam in 2016. He gives concerts regularly in Europe as a chamber musician, and has released several CD recordings. His 2 recordings of G. Tartini’s violin concertos were released in 2001 and 2004 as a world premier. Since 2011 he is teaching baroque violin at the F. Liszt Academy of Music Budapest. In 2019 he received the Liszt Prize.

Tickets for Tartini festival can be purchased one hour before the concert at the venue or in advance sale at Tourist Information Center in Piran, Eventim sales points and Tartini’s birth house in Piran.
