The largest indoor ice rink by the sea is back in Portorož. On the opening day (1 December), skating in the Ex salt warehouse Grando will be free of charge until 8 PM. A guided skating school with a professional instrucor will be held for a limited number of children from 1 to 22 December. Visitors will also be able to watch 3 skating performances and take a walk through Fairytale land after skating.
Grando Ice Rink opening hours:
Monday to Friday: 12.00 AM – 10.00 PM (the last enterance: 9.00 PM)
Saturdays, public holidays and school holidays: 10.00 AM – 10.00 PM (the last enterance: 9.00 PM)
Sundays: 10.00 AM – 6.00 PM (the last enterance: 5.00 PM)
Exception: the rink will be open until 8.00 PM on Sunday 17th December and until 10.00 PM from 22 December to 7th January.

A real novelty in the municipality of Piran will be the Festive train, which will take passengers from Lucija to Piran and back, connecting the festive events on this route.
