We will run by the sea, from the UP Faculty of Tourism Studies – Turistica (Portorož) to the last pier of the Portorož beach (shorter run, turning point after 2 km) or to Seča (longer run, turning point after 4.4 km).
Registration is mandatory. You can participate by downloading the World Run app, registering for an organized run in Portorož, and donating 15.00 EUR to research in the field of spinal cord injuries by paying the registration fee.
We will dedicate the run to the UP Ambassador of the ŠportUP Wings for Life run, Aljoša Habjana, who graduated last December from the Faculty of Applied Kinesiology at the UP Faculty of Health Sciences, because an accident during his studies that left him a quadriplegic did not stop him.
The UP Faculty of Pedagogy will also take care of animation and child care of the runners (from the age of 5, with prior registration). Drinks and snacks will be available for all runners after the run on the Turistica terrace, where they can socialize and share their impressions.
