Indulge in Istrian cuisine

Local natural ingredients – most notably salt, olives, fresh fruits and vegetables, wines, and the flavorful treasures of the sea and hinterland – blend perfectly with a touch of authentic Mediterranean herbs and spices.

Together, they create a rich Istrian culinary tradition, offering a refined indulgence for the palate, whether through seafood or meat dishes.

Taste the prestige: Falstaff restaurants in the heart of Slovenian Istria

Falstaff is a renowned culinary guide, which first appeared in Austria in 1980 as a wine magazine and today stands as the leading gastronomic media outlet for the German-speaking region.

Restaurants are evaluated on a 100-point scale and awarded between one and four forks as a mark of quality.
