Avditorij Portorož is a public cultural, congress, and promotional center, established by the Municipality of Piran in 1972, and is considered the first such facility in the former Yugoslavia.
It is located by the coast in Portorož and offers several venues.
Its program includes a wide range of events – from classical concerts, ballet, and theatrical performances to festivals, congresses, and multimedia content.

Congress and Promotion Center
Auditorium Portorož-Portorose, the congress and promotion center, was established in 1972.
Throughout the year, the venues of the Auditorium’s main building, the open-air Amphitheater, the Tartini Theatre in Piran, and many others in the city and its surroundings create and present high-quality and attractive cultural-artistic and entertainment programs and organize conferences, symposiums, seminars, corporate presentations, celebrations, and receptions.
Main Hall
With 479 seats and 4 meeting rooms, accommodating 20 to 100 participants. The lobby or foyer of the Auditorium is a multifunctional (event) space for independent or accompanying exhibitions, participant receptions, and networking. Cloakroom facilities are available between the Main Hall and the passage to the Amphitheater.
Summer Theatre Amphitheater
The Amphitheater has 1,777 seats and can accommodate up to 2,300 visitors with standing room. The stage measures 24 m x 15 m. An underground corridor leads from the stage to the dressing rooms. There is also a café near the venue. It is intended for corporate events, concerts, opera, dance, entertainment programs, multimedia performances.
Tartini Theatre Piran
Tartini Theatre has 226 seats in the stalls and on two balconies. It is intended for concerts, theatre performances, recitals, multimedia shows, symposiums, conferences, etc. It was built in 1910 in a neo-Renaissance historicist style, featuring both Art Nouveau and historicist elements.
Mediadom Pyrhani
Mediadom Pyrhani is a cultural multimedia center in Piran. Since 2015, it has been the only such center in Slovenian Istria, offering a wide range of cultural activities. The technologically advanced and well-equipped venue enables the realization of various cultural events and activities: from press conferences, lectures, to concerts, music productions, theater activities, and film screenings.
Monfort
Monfort Gallery, located along the coastal promenade between Portorož and Piran, a former salt warehouse, is today the largest exhibition space of the Coastal Galleries Piran, hosting numerous art exhibitions. Emphasis is placed on spatially designed art projects, such as installations, which particularly stand out and attract visitors with a unique blend of historical heritage and contemporary art.
The gallery can accommodate up to 200 participants, making it ideal for various events and occasions.
The wooden kampata holds approx. 400 people and is intended for events, corporate gatherings, weddings, and other occasions.
Magazin Grando
Magazin Grando is an event venue that enables various local and international events, such as concerts, congresses, promotions, exhibitions, and fairs. The spaces include several kampatas, allowing flexible layout and adaptability for different event types.
With a total area of nearly 3,780 m² and the ability to adapt the space for different numbers of visitors, Magazin Grando is an ideal venue for large events. It consists of various kampatas that can be connected or used individually, with capacities up to 1,800 people, depending on needs and layout. The spaces are open and without technical equipment but can be easily adapted for different types of events.
Both in the Auditorium Portorož and the Tartini Theatre in Piran, there is a separate café area. The halls are equipped with top audio-visual equipment. The staff are known for their many years of experience, professionalism, training, and dedication.
