Ladja Jež is a traditional fishing boat from 1960, now renovated for tourism. It represents one of the few preserved examples of a “plavarica”, a type of vessel once used for sardine fishing along the Slovenian coast.
Where: Departures usually take place from Izola, with possible stops in Piran, Koper, or other ports by arrangement.
What it offers:
- Panoramic cruises (up to 3 hours) provide coastal sightseeing from the sea.
- Fish picnic includes a swimming break and grilled fresh fish on board.
- Kočarjenje demonstrates traditional net fishing, with the option for guests to participate.
