Boat trips
The Solinarka boat is a motor vessel, 12 meters long and 4.5 meters wide. It can accommodate up to 50 passengers. It is designed for group trips along the Slovenian coast and for guided visits to the Sečovlje salt pans.
Where: Departures are available from Portorož, Piran, Izola, or other ports upon prior arrangement.
Why visit: Solinarka offers panoramic cruises, sea picnics, educational visits to the salt pans, school excursions, and swimming trips to natural beaches.
What to expect: The panoramic cruise lasts around 1.5 hours. Sea picnics last 2 or 4 hours and include traditional local food and drinks. During the salt pans tour, the boat navigates the Grande Canal and guests visit the salt-making museum. Programs can be tailored to the group’s needs.
