The Fonda Fish Farm is a unique marine aquaculture facility located in the ecologically protected Bay of Piran. Founded and operated by the Fonda family, the farm is a model of sustainable sea bass production rooted in marine biology and environmental care.
The tour takes place at sea, and the fish farm is accessible only by boat, kayak, or SUP. During the guided visit, guests learn about the farm’s origins, fish welfare, feeding practices, and the life cycle of the Piran sea bass, recognized for its premium quality in the Adriatic. The experience typically ends with a tasting of fresh fish delicacies, often served onboard.
