Gramona Farm
Farm, Seča
Gramona Farm is an ecological olive farm located on the Slovenian coast, on the picturesque Seča peninsula. The farm spans 8 hectares across two locations: sunny southern slopes overlooking the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park and a river valley with hazelnuts and pastures.
The farm cultivates nearly 20 different olive varieties, including the local Istrian Belica and Italian Leccino. Most olive trees are between 30 and 35 years old, producing extra virgin olive oil with a protected designation of origin.
Visitors can choose from various olive experiences: individuals may opt for the Gramona Olive Tour with guided olive oil tasting and a walk through the groves, or the Gramona Picnic, enjoying a basket of gourmet products among the olive trees. Organized groups can participate in the Gramona Classic Olive Tour or the Gramona Gourmet Olive Tour, both including guided tastings, olive grove tours, and sampling of local delicacies.
The boutique farm shop offers products such as extra virgin olive oil, pickled olives, olive salt, olive leaf tincture, herbal teas, hazelnuts, hazelnut butter, local olive pâté, wine, and natural cosmetics.
The farm operates on principles of permaculture and regenerative agriculture, with four generations of the family working together, from the youngest members to the 91-year-old nonno.
