Mahnič Farm

Farm, Sečovlje

Kmetija Mahnič is located in the picturesque village of Dragonja, near the Slovenian-Croatian border. This family-run farm, with over a century of tradition, spans 15 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, orchards, and vegetable gardens. The vineyards are planted with ten grape varieties, including Malvasia, Refosco, white and black Burgundy, Bianchera, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Yellow Muscat, Momjan Muscat, and Cipro.

The wine cellar is more than just a storage space; it’s a place with soul, offering guided tastings accompanied by expert explanations. The Kmečki hram inn serves traditional Istrian dishes, lovingly prepared from fresh local ingredients. Specialties include bobići (corn and bean stew), fuži (Istrian pasta), pašta fižol (pasta with beans), polenta, kupus (cabbage), and homemade desserts.

The Mahnič family, spanning multiple generations, is dedicated to preserving tradition and the quality of their products. Visitors are invited to experience authentic Istrian hospitality, enjoy panoramic views of the salt pans and the sea, and savor premium wines and cuisine.
