Morigenos

Marine mammal society

Morigenos is a Slovenian marine mammal society that has been researching and protecting dolphins in the Slovenian sea since 2002. Their work includes scientific research, education, and raising public awareness about the importance of marine conservation.

In Piran, they have established the Dolphin Centre, where visitors can learn about dolphin life through interactive exhibits, listen to their sounds, and view realistic models. Guided tours are available in Slovenian and English.

Morigenos also offers educational programs that include lectures, workshops, land-based dolphin observations, and panoramic boat trips. These programs are designed for anyone interested in deepening their knowledge of dolphins and their environment.
