Hotel Piran presents its wine story through a unique experience called “Our Little Wine Story,” combining a wine shop and tasting bar featuring a selection of premium Slovenian wines. Guests can sample up to ten different wines using a modern Enomatic system, allowing self-service in small or full tasting pours. Tastings take place in a cozy setting, either around a large handcrafted table or by the windows overlooking the picturesque streets of Piran.

Every Friday evening, the hotel hosts “Chat with the Winemaker” events, where guests enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and meet featured winemakers (e.g., Movia, Bordon, Montemoro, Vinakoper), who present their wines, their story, and their winemaking philosophy – often followed by a sunset gathering on the rooftop Terrace 99.

The wine bar is open mostly in the afternoon and evening (Mon 2pm–10pm, Wed–Sat 2pm–10pm, Sun 11am–6pm, closed on Tue) and offers a flexible wine-tasting experience – suitable for curious newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts alike.
