Products made from Piran salt


In the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park, sea salt is produced by hand, using traditional tools and methods passed down from our ancestors. The result of a collaboration between generous nature and dedicated salt workers is a high-quality product with exceptional flavor and a pure, crystalline form.

Istrian olive oil


The olive tree is a Mediterranean plant with a rich heritage, deeply rooted in both mythology and modern life – a never-ending source of stories. Do you have practical questions about parking, transport, or where to get information? Below, you’ll find the answers that will help make your visit to Piran, Portorož, and the surrounding area easier and more enjoyable.

You can always park your car close to your final destination in Portorož or Piran. Near all major attractions and charming hidden corners, you’ll find well-maintained parking areas, where your car can safely wait while you enjoy your sunny adventures worry-free.

Piran’s city transport includes two lines, running frequently to ensure easy and quick travel around the destination. Tickets can be purchased at the green Arriva ticket machines or directly on the bus. Cash payments are not accepted.

You can get around the Slovenian coast quickly and comfortably by taxi. There are many reliable and responsive providers available. For larger groups or travelers with special needs, check with individual providers for accessible vehicle options.

You can visit three Tourist Information Centers (TICs) across our destination – in picturesque Piran, vibrant Portorož, and the authentic countryside village of Padna. They’re the perfect starting point for exploring the area, where friendly and knowledgeable staff will provide you with all the information you need.
