Tourist board Portorož that ensures an effective all year round promotion of tourist destinations Portorož & Piran is after the summer online campaign for the Italian market, this autumn focusing on business tourism.
Many activities have taken place to boost the business tourism is the off-season. Not so long ago the Tourist board Portorož issued a new brochure that integrated the meetings offer of the destination. At the moment we can follow their marketing campaign at LinkedIn that emphasizes the main benefits of the destination – short distances between venues and maximization of time. For the purposes of the new brochures and campaigns Tourist board Portorž organized a photo shooting where to show the importance of a personal touch they’ve used staff inside the congress sector instead of models.
The municipality of Piran otherwise offers approximately 5.000 seats in the congress and conference centres in different hotels. Next to that the congress venues offer an additional 800 seats, while special venues like old salt warehouses are ideal for organizing “out of the box” events. The destination also boasts the biggest conference hall in Slovenia, the conference hall of Grand hotel Bernardin with 1.100 seats.
