On this unique tour, you’ll learn how the town of Piran commissioned artworks from some of the greatest Renaissance masters, such as Domenico Tintoretto and Vittore Carpaccio, why it is called the “city of music”, and how it became a prominent film location.
Behind the scenes of the town
You’ll be guided into five remarkable interiors, normally closed to the public. Among them, you’ll visit the Tartini Theatre with its stunning Secession-style murals, and uncover hidden works of art, including Spacal’s mosaic, Lenassi’s creations, and other treasures preserved in the old town centre.
