Discover the charms of Istria on a culinary Vespa adventure. This tour will guide you through authentic Istrian cuisine and picturesque landscapes, where you’ll meet local residents. Your journey will take you through hidden corners and historic villages of the Istrian countryside.

You’ll visit stunning viewpoints featuring olive groves, salt pans, and pine trees – the perfect setting for memorable photographs. Along the way, you’ll enjoy local specialties, including olive oil tastings and other delightful Istrian treats during your stops.

Our experience begins with a meeting at our office in Piran, opposite the main bus station (address: Dantejeva ulica 1). After a brief introduction with the guides and preparation of the Vespas, we start our journey.

First, we ride through city streets toward the peaceful countryside, making our initial stop at the salt pans. We then continue along quieter local routes to a local olive oil producer, where we sample freshly-made olive oil. In an authentic Istrian tavern, we’ll relax while enjoying a traditional platter of local snacks and refreshing drinks. Along the route, we’ll pause at various scenic viewpoints, allowing you time to enjoy panoramic views and discover hidden gems of Istria.

As we conclude our adventure, we’ll return through the Strunjan Nature Park, enjoying spectacular views of the Slovenian coast, Italy, and Croatia. Our day ends at our office, sharing impressions over a glass of local wine.

For a memorable guided Vespa tour, please bring a valid personal ID and driver’s license if you plan on driving.

Wear comfortable, layered clothing suitable for varying weather conditions. Remember to bring sunglasses and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun.

Bring your own water bottle if you have one; otherwise, water will be provided by the organizer.

Our English and Slovenian-speaking guides will lead you through hidden corners of Istria and ensure plenty of fun photo opportunities. During the tour, you’ll also have the opportunity to purchase local products such as homemade wine and olive oil.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Driving the Vespa requires a valid driver’s license and legal age (18+).
• Your reservation includes a 50cc Vespa suitable for two people. If you prefer a stronger model (125cc), please mention this in your reservation notes, and we will check availability.
• A deposit must be paid prior to starting the tour and will be fully refunded upon return of an undamaged Vespa and equipment.
• If you’d prefer to ride solo, please indicate this in your reservation notes, and we will verify availability and contact you shortly.
• The price for one person per Vespa is €150.
