The unique cycling experience begins at Snack & Wine Bar Mažinin with a morning coffee and a detailed route briefing, providing essential information about the cycling path and guidelines for riding e-bikes in a convoy, on roads, and bike lanes.

This introduction helps you prepare for a safe and enjoyable ride through the beautiful landscape while ensuring you make the most of every moment of your journey. Along the way, you’ll discover hidden gems and local landmarks, with our guides sharing fascinating anecdotes, historical facts, and insights into ecological aspects, turning your exploration into a meaningful experience.

All necessary equipment is provided, including an electric bike, helmet, backpack, and rain poncho.

Main Stops of the E-Bike Tour

  1. Portorož – The City of Roses:
    Begin your journey in modern Portorož, then leave the bustle behind as you cycle into the peaceful neighborhood of Lucija.
  2. Forma Viva:
    Continue to the unique open-air sculpture exhibition, showcasing stone artworks from over 30 countries. 
  3. Sečovlje Salina Nature Park:
    Follow the St. Bartholomew Canal to the entrance of the park. Dive into 700+ years of salt-making tradition and explore the largest coastal wetland in Slovenia. 
  4. Museum of Salt-Making (optional):
    If you wish, deepen your understanding of the salt pans by visiting the Salt-Making Museum. 
  5. Fiesa and the Cliffs:
    Ride along a scenic coastal road to Fiesa, where you’ll find a rare lake where saltwater and freshwater meet. 
  6. Piran:
    Cycle to St. George’s Church for a short stop, then descend to Cape Madonna and explore the seaside promenade and narrow historic streets of Piran. 
  7. Wine & Local Food Tasting:
    Return to Portorož via Bernardin, passing the former Grando salt warehouse. End the journey with a tasting of local cold cuts and Istrian wine at Snack & Wine Bar Mažinin.

Essential Tips & Experience Enhancements

We recommend wearing appropriate sportswear for the e-bike tour and not forgetting the essentials like a hat or cap, sunscreen, and—most importantly—plenty of good vibes. Everything else will be taken care of to ensure a relaxed and fun e-bike experience along the stunning Slovenian coast.

To make your trip completely carefree, you can also opt for a small snack pack for your backpack, available for €5 per person.
If you’re joining us from nearby towns (minimum 4 people), you can take advantage of our transport service starting at €7 per person.
