Types of fish you can expect on your sea adventure:

Sport fishing can be a true adventure, where every moment brings a unique challenge. With experienced Captain Peter, you’ll embark on an unforgettable experience, where, depending on the season, you may encounter:
- Bogue (Riboni): The season begins in spring, slows briefly in summer, and peaks in late autumn.
- Mackerel (Skuše): These feisty predators visit our sea from early summer and stay until late autumn.
- Common Pandora (Moli): Late autumn and early winter bring in schools of moli, which may stay until early summer.
While exploring the sea depths, you might also come across dorado (golden mackerel), squid, cuttlefish, and the greater weever.
Each catch carries its own story and challenge, which you’ll unravel together with Peter in the magical world of sport fishing.
What happens to the fish we catch?
Whether it’s bogue, mackerel, pandora, squid, or cuttlefish, there’s a cooler on board where your catch will be kept fresh until the end of the trip — and you’ll be able to take it home and prepare it like a true Istrian fisherman for dinner!
We encourage a sustainable approach to fishing and the joy of eating freshly caught local fish, turning your sea experience into an unforgettable culinary adventure.
What can your companion do if they choose not to participate in fishing?

Peter also gives attention to those who simply wish to relax by the waves and sunshine on the open sea.
Companions can enjoy sunbathing or cool off by swimming in the refreshing Adriatic Sea.
Did you know that while relaxing with breathtaking views of the coast and distant horizon, you can also boost your immune system?
Slovenian Istria is a treasure trove of natural benefits that help restore balance between relaxation and well-being.
The secret lies in the sea water and marine aerosols, which offer a unique way to care for your body, mind, and overall wellness.

Fishing Equipment and Safety Measures Onboard

All the necessary equipment is ready for you – fishing rods, bait, tackle, and a life jacket to ensure your complete safety.
We recommend wearing appropriate clothing for the season and sun protection during the summer.
For our shared sea adventure, we’ll be heading out on the Fortis Fisher 590 (2019 model), powered by a Suzuki 90HP outboard engine, offering a spacious deck for a comfortable experience.
Your safety is Peter’s top priority, so the boat is equipped with:
- Life jackets for all participants
- Emergency communication tools (radio, mobile phone)
- First aid kit
- Tools for any quick repairs (sealant tape, wrenches, and more)
Before heading out to sea, we always check the weather forecast and avoid trips during bad weather or unfavorable conditions.
In case of poor weather, the sport fishing trip will be rescheduled in agreement with participants to ensure the best possible experience for everyone.
