A descent into Portorož will follow, where you’ll join the Parenzana cycling route, taking you past the Sečovlje Salt Pans to the Sečovlje border crossing. From there, you’ll ride through the Dragonja River valley, between vineyards and olive groves, and ascend to the village Rojci. After a short climb to Pomjan, the tour continues to Šmarje, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Istrian snack.
The route then leads to the roundabout in Srgaši, through Gažon, with multiple stops to take in the views, all the way to Šared, from where you’ll return to the starting point.
