The salt workers will warmly welcome your children at the Lucija bus station. Ahead lie three hours of active exploration, during which they will walk nearly five kilometers. Two experienced animators will lead a group of up to 12 children, ensuring a personalized approach and a safe experience.

Together, they will discover the rich cultural heritage and 700-year-old tradition of salt-making. The journey begins with a walk through Lucija Camp, continues with a short outdoor workout at Cape Seča, and then climbs up to Forma Viva Park, where they’ll admire an impressive collection of stone sculptures.

During the refreshing walk above the Sečovlje Salt Pans, they will enjoy stunning views and immerse themselves in the life and work of the salt workers. Along the way, they will find the tools needed for working in the salt pans and even try their hand at salt harvesting.

The red thread of this adventure is a magical story explaining how salt is made from seawater – salt that is gently ground by little mills on the sea floor, until it’s ready for everyday use.
