Join a self-guided family tour of the city of Koper, where secrets of the past intertwine with magical tasks! The Winged Cat Challenge takes you into a world of myths, legends, and mysteries of Venetian Koper. While searching for a mysterious spell, that protects the city from Medusa, children will lead parents through the most beautiful city landmarks. While solving the challenges, you’ll discover lions, dragons, nobles and secret symbols that decorate the façades of old houses. You’re in for a true urban adventure with a map from 1619, stickers, orientation tasks, and a final reward: ice cream and a heroic tattoo!
The perfect adventure for young explorers of all ages
The program is designed for families of all sizes and children of all ages, from the youngest ones who love to stick stickers, to curious schoolkids and those young at heart who enjoy stories and challenges. The trip starts at Prešeren Square and takes you along a 1.2 km route through the old town center, along a path that is suitable even for strollers. You will receive the package at Muda Gate (with prior reservation), and the adventure ends at Pristaniška Street, where a successful challenge completion earns you a sweet reward and a heroic tattoo at Triglav Café. The adventure is moderately easy, lasts 1–2 hours, and has no time limit, so you can complete it at your own pace. Bring your own food and drinks, everything else is taken care of by the winged cat!
