At Thalasso Spa Lepa Vida, in the gentle shelter of the salt pans, you can experience the gifts of the sea, which have a revitalizing effect on the body, restore balance within the organism, replenish energy, and nourish and regenerate the skin. You can enjoy treatments with natural products obtained from the Sečovlje Salt Pans. Salt mud, brine (mother water), salt, and seawater are the key elements of thalassotherapy at the salt pans. Among them, salt mud and brine – mother lye – are officially recognized by the Ministry of Health as natural healing agents.

Piran Sea Salt
With its rich and distinctive flavor, Piran sea salt is primarily intended for natural nutrition. However, it is also used in cosmetics as bath salt and for salt scrubs.
Salt Mud
Also known as fango or “black gold,” salt mud is used in healthcare due to its thermal and chemical properties. It helps relieve pain, improve circulation, and treat various conditions, including chronic musculoskeletal pain, skin diseases, and certain rheumatic disorders. Fango wraps warm the tissues, enhance oxygenation, reduce pain, and have a soothing effect, while humic acids provide anti-rheumatic benefits and support certain gynecological treatments.
Brine
Also known as mother water, brine is a byproduct of salt production, rich in minerals. It is used in baths at 38°C to relieve pain, treat skin and rheumatic diseases, and promote relaxation with its therapeutic effects.
Thalasso Spa Lepa Vida is open from May to August between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM, and in September between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with operations depending on weather conditions.
The spa is closed from October to May. Access is only possible via organized transport from the entrance of the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park, where free parking is available.
